WHITE AND CREAM ACCESSORIES THAT’LL STAND OUT IN A SEA OF BLACK ONES

As winter has now set in, it’s time to get serious and that begins with coats and boots.

We fashionistas know that trends, by their very nature, are tricky to lock down and predict their lifespan. Some trends are subjected to die out within a season, some stick around for the long haul and evolve into a generational classic, and some make a living off of many comebacks.

Today, I wanted to share yet another look featuring white accessories! I’m a huge fan of white shoes, see here, because I always felt that white accents add a certain pop of chic to any outfit. It also helps to make Winter’s colour palette to look brighter and happier (dry cleaning bills be damned).

If you’re going to hop on a trend train this season, you might as well choose one that’s proven it has a decent lifespan every time it’s made a comeback, the white / cream shoes! White and cream boots captured the hearts of the fashion industry tenfold this year, Steve Madden even created a bright white bootie named “The Editor.”

Just look at that fabulous gold block heel! It’s so Winter 2017/2018!

Crisp white or cream boots are a welcome breath of fresh air in a season bogged down by the classic black boot.

I personally love to see women wearing totally white or cream looks over colorful staples, as it screams impeccable voguish. I find these colours to be luxe and expensive. White is as elegant and effortless as our other beloved neutrals, but a white coat is not only classic—it’s exciting and modern. Even a classic black turtleneck looks chic and new when topped with a fresh white layer.

A good low or high turtleneck top/jumper is a must-have staple for any season (at least in my wardrobe)! With all the trends that come and go, it’s one of the few pieces that will last for seasons to come which makes it a great investment piece. There are countless ways you can style it. Add a pair of ankle booties (on sale now!), skinny jeans, white Circle Detail Saddle Bag (70% off!), layer it with a chic white coat (on sale now!) and voila! I have to admit that the turtleneck feature is a staple in my closet from tops and jumpers to dresses and even jumpsuits. I just can’t get enough of it.

    I own a pair of winter boots in white, but I find that I tend not wear them as much because it feels like they attract dirt! I love white shoes in drier weather though and your pair looks amazing!

    I’m just too clumsy to wear a lot of white, haha! Not a colour I can wear often around my toddlers either 😉
