Trending Stripes and Ruffles
While I still love every moment of late summer, I’m really looking forward to fall. The leaves changing colors, the cool breeze, the first shy thoughts of Christmas and for the fashion season… boots, coats and gorgeous knits. But before we get there I’m still embracing the Stripes and Ruffles of August’s theme (here and here) and therefore today it’s another slightly more subtle exhibition of stripes, the gorgeous Niamh Striped Panelled Strappy Skater Dress! which I’ve been wearing non-stop! Just last weekend with a pair of sleek black heeled sandals for a date night with my husband.
I love a good designer piece as probably most of you know, but not all fashion has to break the bank! It’s good to treat yourself now and then, but this past week I gave myself a different challenge. I wanted to find some amazing summer dresses UNDER NOT just £100 but £50. This skater dress is a real bargain that you can get literally for a few pounds from Boohoo! If you’re the girl who loves a good trend when you see one, then this dress is perfect for you!
When I stumbled upon it, I was shocked to see the price tag because I totally thought it would be way more expensive. The quality is super amazing for the price and I mean it!
The strappy detail is super flattering and flirty and the stripes are super cute and summery. One thing I need to mention, this dress is on the taller side even for me. I’m 5’7″ so if you’re a little on the shorter side, this dress might not be for you!

This cute piece has great transitional qualities, it’s perfect for the weekend or out for date night with a pair of skyscraper heels for a serious statement look.
