You have now seen a few of my Christmas and NYE inspirations (as seen in blog posts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) and I promise I still have a few hiding in the closet. I have been trying to keep a nice mix of varying lengths, colours and styles so everyone can find something for the NYE party. Today is the next of my carefully selected choices, a Lipsy VIP Feather Hem Lace Midi Dress.
This dress is a true gem, a flattering fit with a high neckline and a feather hem (oh yes!!!), this LBD ensures you are the centre of attention.
For the holidays (and not only), I love dressing up. Christmas season is a perfect excuse to get all your party attire out of the closet, dust it off and show it off to the world.
This beautiful black dress looks great with any accessories (I would only avoid adding more feathers whether as a necklace or earrings, remember guys less is more). In the past I worn this dress with a splash of fuchsia and red crimson colours. This time round I have decided to go with a classy and timeless hue, black. It’s elegant, classy, luxurious and the lace panels add a hint of mystery.
Perfect dress for office holiday parties, friends get-together events, winter night-outs, and date nights. The only thing I would like to mention is that the feather hem doesn’t stretch as much as I would prefer – especially to accommodate my crazy dance moves. Otherwise this is a beautiful dress, a combination of grace and sophistication.
I completed the look with a Coast Nadine Velvet Eyelet Bag and a pair of fantastic Public Desire Mayfair Pearl Detail Courts Heels. I just love love this combination of velvet and pearls. Currently I can’t seem to get enough of pearls. The pearl detail is the perfect finish to any outfit.
With all black ensembles, I like adding a pop of colour like red on the lips to give more depth to the look.
