Dressing during soaring summer temperatures can be quite a challenge, with very few pieces of clothing seemingly able to balance being both fashionable and comfortable.
As the summer has progressed, a number of items have surged in popularity, including pearl hair clips, mesh body suits, statement earrings and my favourite playsuits.
Playsuits have long been a summer style staple, just have a cheeky look here and here, and they are set to stick around for a few seasons to come.
What I love about rompers is that they make dressing so effortless! This shorter version of a jumpsuit requires little effort to match and restyle, making it perfect for just about any occasion. They’re a real-time saver, easy to throw on and you don’t have to think much about pairing separates together.
The typical summer interpretation? It’s all about standout prints, cool beige colours and silky fabrics.
BEIGE CLASSIC
Smarten up your look with a beige romper paired with a pair of nude courts and a tailored blazer in a neutral colour. Add a structured bag such as a tote and you’re ready to close that deal.
If bare legs seem too daring, add a pair of sheer stockings to your look. Keep your hair and make-up classic and simple. For a more casual look add a pair of sandals with a straw bag and voila!

These are beautiful playsuit/romper outfits dear. You always look so elegant and classy. I love your tip about adding a pair of stockings if bare legs seem to much. I was just thinking about how easily playsuits/ rompers can be dressed up with stockings and a pair of pumps. Wearing them casually is also a great option in the summer. As you said, all we need is a pair of sandals.

I really love the comfy and breezy looking floral playsuit and the beige safari piece but the one thing I dislike about wearing playsuits are when it comes to going to the toilet – I find it annoying to have to take everything off to wee!
