Greece, one of the most beautiful countries I have been to, the cradle of Western civilization that does not stop impressing me with its astonishing islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas.
The island is packed with golden beaches, a warm sea that’s above 20 degrees from May to November, historic sightseeing, and plenty of resorts to help you unwind and enjoy some first rate Greek hospitality.
With so many options out there it’s not an easy task to choose a place to stay.
The Atrium Hotels have three spectacular resorts in different parts of the island which are a privately-owned hotel chain in Rhodes. They’re well known for their state of the art facilities, personalised services, exclusive luxury décor and fine hospitality within sumptuously designed buildings.
We have now had an opportunity to stay at all 3 beautiful hotels.
Atrium Platinum, located on the Northern tip of Rhodes in the pristine cove of Ixia Bay is a perfect choice if your preference is to be close to a town. You can find all the information about this beautiful resort here.
Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas situated in the tranquil bay of Kalathos Village has been inspired by the historical trends witnessing the passing of centuries and civilizations. Doric columns, marble statues, the pretty gardens filled with fountains, lily-topped ponds and miniature bridges give the Atrium Palace a traditional feel.
My personal favourite, Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa is located on the south-east coast of Rhodes.
It actually doesn’t matter which hotel you pick as you can easily drive everywhere on the island and all places are in close proximity to each other.
I always look forward to the magical moment when the entrance door opens and you are greeted with big smiles and a glass of champagne.
It’s incredible how all of your senses can be indulged within the first few seconds.
This has been one of my favourite holidays yet and here’s why.
STUNNING VIEWS
You can enjoy spectacular Mediterranean sea views from all three descending levels at Atrium Prestige.
DIRECT ACCESS TO THE BEACH
Not that you need any convincing, but beautiful beaches, warm water and pleasant weather are all great reasons to visit Rhodes.
The hotel is conveniently located directly on the seafront of the south-east coast of Rhodes, right on the beautiful Lachania beach.
Being on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea comes with a few perks, the water is lovely and calm and ideal for the little ones.
If you like walking along beaches, there are plenty of options around the hotel for a nice walk or even a run first thing in the morning while admiring the sunrise.
ENDLESS INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOTS
I’ve visited many different places but I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such incredible views, delectable meals, or vivid sunsets all in one place – like at Atrium Prestige.
From the crisp white buildings to where the fresh blue sea meets the clear bright skies, every angle is breathtaking.
INCREDIBLE VARIETY OF ROOM OPTIONS
I often rate a hotel according to its rooms and the quality of the food / service. Atrium Prestige didn’t disappoint me with its incredible multitude of accommodation options.
We stayed in both the Deluxe Room Sea View and the Platinum Beach Junior Suite Sea View, both with a personal pool.
I love exploring different rooms as it gives me a better perspective of what room I would prefer during my next stay.

The room was exactly what I had hoped for – spacious and comfortable. I also loved the lime green decor which felt like complete paradise.
We enjoyed the extended open space!
Also the private swimming pool offers more room to paddle around and not to mention the breathtaking sea view.
Tranquility, serenity and indulgence – dream come true.
We are planning to go back next year to explore more rooms and share these with you.
The Ambassador Sea Front With Personal Pool Sea View -3 BD or Presidential Beach Villa Sea Front With Personal Pool is definitely the top of the list.
ATRIUM SIGNATURE – PRIVATE PERSONAL POOLS
I love the privacy and freedom that the private pool offers. Without a doubt we always spend most of the holiday splashing in the pool away from crowds.
My perfect setting, sipping champagne while enjoying the serenity of the Mediterranean Sea.
SUMPTUOUS WINING AND DINING
Chic ambiance and stylish design combined with the most enchanting of settings will definitely tickle your gustatory palates and take your dining experience to the next level.
Main Restaurant Aegean
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with a wide variety of selections, and let’s not forget about the breathtaking sea front view.
Asian Restaurant Asia
Inspired by Asian cuisine and culture, with an extensive dinner menu and outdoor dining option.
Gourmet Restaurant Thalassa
Fantastic chic ambience and stylish design.
The beautiful restaurant also offers twice weekly lobster night, with 5 delicious lobster themed meals.
I definitely recommend booking it, the food and service were fantastic.
Authentic live Greek music helps to get you into the mood, accompanied by the gentle sea breeze and the stunning view.
Pool Restaurant
The restaurant combines a unique selection of three menus, BBQ, Greek and Italian delicacies. What more could you want, just mix and match.
Actually there is one more ingredient that I need to make my evening perfect and it’s an attentive service! In this place you will get more than you ever bargained for especially if you’re lucky enough to be served by Jani!
Every time we go back to Prestige, the first evening is always at the Pool Restaurant just to see Jani again. Jani has always delivered an impeccable service and we always enjoy the chat with him.

CHIC BARS
Kalithea Main Bar
All day and evening bar is where the magic happens.
As the sun goes down this beautiful bar turns into the centre of the entertainment, with daily dance and music shows.
A perfect end to a beautiful day sipping espresso martinis.
Akteon Beach Bar
Just get the hotel’s Exclusivi app ready, choose the drink/snack you want, enter the umbrella number … and voilla – all delivered to you!
H2O Pool Bar
Great views and an equally impressive selection of cocktails to enjoy whilst listening to the sea breeze.
PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS
The hotel offers an impressive variety of entertainment that you can explore at any time using their Exclusivi app. From kalimera stretching, Pilates, aqua aerobics to aqua Zumba and beach volleyball.
I also enjoyed the themed entertainment nights, dance and music shows that included latin dance, live music, Greek night shows, and many more.
If you want to work up a sweat, the hotel also has a great fitness centre with the latest gym equipment, as well as a tennis court.
How about a game of mini golf or giant chess?
TOP NOTCH SERVICE
To make the whole experience better, the hotel service treat you like royalty. The hotel staff will help you get whatever you want – from delicious cocktails to a private dinner reservation.
ALL IN THE DETAIL
I have an eye for detail and what really grabbed my attention was the incredible variety of vases across the resort, and all the stunning flowers and plants. I just couldn’t help but admire these.
EXCLUSIVI APP
What a fantastic idea – all in one at your finger tips! With this app you can keep an eye on the daily entertainment options, order drinks and food in all restaurants and bars, at the beach while sunbathing, and even in-room dining without the need to leave your private pool. BTW the room service is incredibly quick!
Overall, the Atrium Prestige offered the ultimate vacation experience in Rhodes for us. We’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough for families or couples alike!
If you ever find yourself there, I seriously recommend getting one of the rooms with a private pool – you can’t beat the spectacular views looking over the Mediterranean Sea whilst enjoying a swim and a glass of champagne!
PLACES NEAR BY
PRASONISI BEACH
The Atrium Prestige is brilliantly set in close proximity to Prasonisi, one of the most impressive beaches in Rhodes (a 20 minutes drive). This is the place where the Mediterranean and the Aegean seas merge into one, representing a magnificent spectacle. You can swim in the Aegean Sea and jump into the Mediterranean Sea in a few seconds. Awesome, isn’t it?
This is also a phenomenal place for windsurfing and kiteboarding.
LINDOS TOWN
Just 38 mins drive away is the beautiful town Lindos known for its most impressive archaeological site on the island – the ancient clifftop acropolis and beneath it the maze of continuous buildings and interior courtyards.
Once you get to the top of the Acropolis the views are truly breathtaking, and don’t forget to visit the Temple of Athena Lindia dedicated to the goddess Athena.
ST PAUL’S BAY
Known for its picturesque scenery and a stunning view, 30 minutes drive from Atrium Prestige.

I haven’t been able to travel much these past few years, not only due to Covid, but also since becoming a mom. I look forward to being able to travel again with them and just the hubby and I. I, like you, need to travel to a country more than once to truly understand the history and culture. All of which can’t be fully absorbed in a week or two. Atrium sounds like an amazing hotel. It looks very glam and lux both inside and outside. I love that there are so many different activities organized in the hotel itself. Water aerobics looks great. Wonderful to know about diverse dinning options there because I’m a foodie. Must remember it if I ever visit Greece.
