Staff appeared with luminous smiles and that unmistakable Balinese grace, instantly dissolving the fog of a 27‑hour journey. The resort’s calm, almost enchanted atmosphere wrapped around the moment, hinting that something special was about to unfold. A chilled tropical drink arrived like a small celebration, quietly setting the rhythm for the days ahead.

The accommodations at The Royal Purnama are nothing short of exquisite. Among the standout options is the two‑bedroom Melati Villa, a serene hideaway complete with its own private pool framed by lush tropical greenery. It’s the kind of space that turns a stay into an experience, offering both indulgence and tranquillity in equal measure.

The interiors are a seamless blend of modern amenities and traditional Balinese touches. From the opulent bed adorned with intricately woven textiles to the gracefully hand-crafted furniture, every detail exuded a sense of understated elegance.

The semi-open air bathroom, featuring a lush garden, a freestanding bathtub, and rain shower – so perfect to indulge in blissful relaxation while connecting with nature. Paradise!

The Jepun Villas offer a more intimate expression of The Royal Purnama’s signature serenity – a refined hideaway shaped by handcrafted Balinese details and the calming rhythm of the surrounding landscape. Though smaller in scale, these villas carry the same sense of quiet indulgence found throughout the resort, blending traditional artistry with contemporary comfort. I quite enjoyed my workouts especially that the gym combines modern facilities with a backdrop of serene natural beauty.
