We are reluctantly coming to the realisation that we can’t live in trackies forever. We are slowly but surely heading towards a new version of reality and we need to prepare for the return.

Without further ado, let’s get into the my favourite spring trends.

REINVENTED CORSET

This is one trend that never really disappears and the fashion stage has been championing this look for hundreds of years.

Corsets are a great way to add shape and don’t always have to be sexy, they can also be architectural and sophisticated. This season the focus is on the mid-section including wide waist belts and laced bodices.

BASICS WITH A TWIST

The demand for a versatile wardrobe is higher than ever. This year is all about versatile basics with slight twists to make them feel a little different and prove classics don’t have to be boring.

SUPER WIDE-LEGGED TROUSERS

Baggy trousers are having a moment in 2021!

This trend may not have the streamlining effect of your favoured slim-line silhouettes but it is elegantly languid and deliberately oversized. There is nothing sloppy or accidentally too-baggy about this trend.

With this style you can have both comfort and swagger. Create a balance with something cropped or slim-fitting on top.

QUIRKY CUTS OUT

Get ready for tan lines to start popping out this season thanks to the emergence of cut-out details. After a year of slouchy, cozy clothes, it’s not hard to see the appeal of curve-hugging and sensual, body-revealing clothing.

Cut-outs have worked their way into pretty much everything from dresses, tops, jumpsuits to swimsuits and even jackets!

Time to spice up those conservative looks thanks to peekaboo glimpses of skin.

THE FLOSS

From skirts, tops, playsuits to swimwear and dresses, this trend is taking over the fashion scene.

Crisscrossing cords, wraparound details and halter neck dental floss add so much chic and sass to any outfit – so make sure you don’t miss out this summer.

    Beautiful trends and outfits. I love the cut out trend, it’s so fun. I also love the idea of reinvented classical pieces. A maxi dress is always a good idea for Spring. You look fabulous in all of these items. I haven’t been buying lately, I never seem to be able to find the time to shop.
