It’s been a very busy and eventful year for me and I can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring!
Every year I spend weeks planning our New Year’s Eve. It’s such a special and magical evening saying good bye to the old and welcoming the new. We love exploring different places, meeting new people, tasting new cuisines, well… we just love creating new unforgettable memories each year.
This year after quite a lengthy debate and research we decided to celebrate at the award-winning Whittlebury Hall.
It wasn’t a random choice, we both had been to the place before for the SPA weekends but this was the first time to celebrate a NYE.
We simply can’t get enough of the charming elegant feel of the place, the beautiful grounds, relaxing atmosphere and great selection of wines, of course! Another reason we keep coming back again and again is the food scene.
Besides the delicious food, I’m obsessed with the Whittlebury grounds—the views are just so gorgeous.
Walking around the property and taking in all of its beauty is one of my favourite things to do there.
We arrived at the hotel on Sunday early enough to make the most of the SPA facilities. The hotel is also adjacent to the Whittlebury Park golf centre for those who love playing golf (like my husband!) and only 3.8 miles from the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit.
The award-winning Whittlebury Hall and Spa offers one of the largest day spas in the country. This self-contained day spa is in a separate wing from the hotel. The main attraction is the heat and ice experience with a hydrotherapy pool, hot and cold thermal rooms and experience showers, but there’s also a sizeable swimming pool and classes available in the exercise studio!
The hotel offers a wide range of rooms for any pocket size. We tend to stay in their individually decorated suites with fantastic countryside views and let’s not forget complimentary wine.
For a foodie like myself, the choice of 4 restaurants including a fine-dining option and a terrace café is a dream come true.
Guys if you ever end up struggling to decide on a place I highly recommend this hotel either to relax or to celebrate a special occasion.
We had a magical New Year’s Evening celebrating with truly wonderful people that we met.
This year I wore an amazing Honor Gold Sasha Backless Midi Dress with Miss KG glitter shoes. There is never too much glitter to celebrate NYE!
