Summer’s ongoing love affair with floral prints continues for Fall 2017 so Guys be prepared to embrace your inner lady with floral print dresses, shoes, bags and even sunglasses.
Today yet another of the floral fabulous outfits, which happens to combine some of the Fall 2017 trends, floral and thigh high boots. You may remember my other floral outfit, here, that gained a lot of interest and questions, therefore
I’ve decided to come back with even more florals but in a completely different form, shape and colour. Keep scrolling to see how I styled this cool Fall ’17 trend that anyone and everyone can wear.
This time I’m wearing a maxi version (perhaps less moody and more romantic than my last Ted Baked dress) with thigh-high boots combination.
Guys, I have to admit that wearing florals does not come naturally to me but the more I explore and experiment with the fall trends the more reassured I become that one can look good in prints. I always believed that florals belong to vintage couches or curtains but this perfect combination of blue and orange hues with an incredibly flowy silhouette has conquered my heart.
It’s so much fun styling feminine pieces like this Next Glamourous dress and adding some edge to it with a pair of funky boots. A blend of sweet feminine flare with strong hardware accents.
It’s truly amazing how this dress has such a strong transformative quality! Delicate and feminine with a pair of boots and trench coat for colder days or a pair of sandals for the warmer summer days.
This trend is not easy to pull off but, at the same time, can be achieved by anyone. Just a few tips:
1. Say NO to too many accessories. The prints are edgy bordering on grunge, so stay away from anything too pretty—hair should be a little messy and shoes a bit tough.
2. Wear a print with colours that match your skin tone
3. Choose a print size that matches your body type. Generally, bigger prints draw attention and smaller prints camouflage. Choose accordingly to frame your favourite parts of your body.
I’m loving these thigh-high boots, they would look great with anything, mid and maxi length dresses or how about a pair of skinny jeans. The dress would also look lovely with a pair of black sandals, but something about a thigh-high boot really ties the look together and adds just the right touch of edge and drama to the look!
