When it comes to straw bags, I’m very picky. I love the idea of it, but it still needs to have city elements in it like a dash of practicality. That’s why I like sizeable silhouettes (ideally with a shoulder strap option) more than small bags. Mini straw bags look all nice and cute but there is not much use for them other than adding some fun element to the overall look.
Also you probably know by now that I’m not a great fan of anything plain, I always look for interesting textures or special details to add just a bit of edge to my outfits. So when I saw this South Beach Round Gold Woven Straw Cross Body Bag in ASOS it was love at first sight. The gold accents are fun and the round shape is so incredibly sharp and chic. The best part, it does have a strap too! It’s such a great choice for a city girl like me who loves going to warm weather destinations!
Even though I only bought the bag a few days ago it is sold out now but keep scrolling down to find out a few more fabulous bag options for the summer.
Aside from the fact that woven bags look great with absolutely everything, this particular one adds that perfect touch of golden drama to any vacation look! Great holiday staple however it also feels that it actually works pretty well with my city spring looks now that the weather has finally got warmer! Naturally, I love that versatility!

Okay, so the Loaffler Randall bag is fabulous! I love how it has the simplicity of a simple round, straw bag, however, there are some added pop poms on the bottom which is so cute and perfect for the summer, and of course the beach. These are all great recommendations though. I like how you included I bunch of different types of bags even though the majority seem to be straw – they all have something different about them that makes them unique!
