Show stopping ruffles – Summer Fashion Edit

Can you guys believe July is already over? This July, to me, was mainly filled with lots of work on my blog and counting down the days until my trip to NYC. I’m so excited about the trip I can hardly think of anything else right now! I have put together a preliminary list of places I need to see and restaurants to go to but would love to get some more tips. So if you live or have been to NYC please share your experiences. 

Right without further adieu lets dive into the world of ruffles. They were big last season and they are even bigger this Summer. Ruffles appear to be everywhere I look, snaking around necks, cascading down shoulders and hips, …softly kissing our feet. Ruffles still imbue a feminine charm, but they can also add a sense of drama that makes for a perfect evening look. So many ruffles, so little time! They’re effortless, chic, and go with just about everything. Now summer has officially arrived alongside some awesome and fancy assortment of ruffles. From dresses, shirts to shoes and bags, there are so many options to choose from this summer.

Here are some ruffle choices that caught my interest the most! I’m not going to lie, indulging in great designer items is my guilty pleasure and this edit contains a lot of designer choices. It’s good to treat yourself a little now and then, am I right?

    Yes, I was in NYC last year and loved every moment of it. Manhattan was a highlight but Brooklyn has so much character. I walked everywhere when possible so I could see more and it was so worth it. Have fun. xoxo Cris
