No other accessory sparks as much debate as the hat.
It’s the most polarizing category in fashion. Look at berets, currently beloved by so many bloggers —you either hate it or love it. Sadly I hate it primarily because I just look stupid wearing one!
If there’s one that’s widely accepted, it’d say it’s the beanie, but even then, I know a handful of people who would rather painfully endure sub-zero temps than slip on a beanie including myself.
But for all the hat-haters out there (guilty), let’s explore the positives before dismissing it outright.
1.Right hat can deliver a cool-girl, glam look. Dressing should be fun and hats can be fun. So, yeah, they can be a little costume-y, but that’s what makes them so awesome!
2.It’s a perfect way to start transitioning your wardrobe into fall
3.Putting on a hat is way easier and quicker than styling your hair, it can be a real-time saver. So if you run out of your dry shampoo and you are late for work just throw a hat on. It’s almost as convenient as heaving all-in-one jumpsuit in your wardrobe.
4.Your hair still hasn’t grown out, so hats are really a great way to keep your hair off your face.
5.A hat can save you from an unexpected rain. Oh yes Guys, hats are as good as hoods albeit more glamorous and stylish
6.Hats are great accessorises; wearing one can make your look feel more complete.
7.A hat is your best friend in summer alongside your sunscreen and sunglasses cream. That cool looking perpetual shade
8.Hats are a great way to experiment with prints and embellishments such as brooches.
9.A right hat can definitely help you to stand out from the crowd with that super-cool fashion-forward vibe. Just because you don’t want to wear a fascinator on your forehead, doesn’t mean you want to blend in.
10.Probably the most practical reason, wear a hat to keep your head warm!
For this look, I wanted to focus on the hat that I bought a while ago from Very. I threw on a super cool Fashion Union High Neck Top In Velvet With Pearl Embellishment, fabulous faux leather skirt and finished the look off with the pair of Qupid Metal Heel Sock Boots from ASOS. And voila! Super chic and comfy ootd.
And one ‘special’ cute addition to this post the courtesy of my husband trying to entertain himself while waiting for me to change my outfit …

First of all You look amazing wearing that hat. I love hats but I do not use them very often. However, they are excellent for so many reasons many of the reasons you pointed here.
